September 7, 2003 Well, It's now early September, I'm home from Europe about a week now,
and I'm really missing it over there. Click here for the new stuff, |

I arrived in Dublin on July 12th at 5:30 am. I had only two goals: 1. To catch a train to Ardmore that afternoon. |

What I didn't realize was
that the brewery and the train station were on the complete opposite side
of the city. |

So, off I went. I didn't have much money that day, so to collect some cash for lunch, I broke out my guitar in this square in an area called Temple Bar and started playing. After I'd earned about €12 (around $15), I went off to grab a light treat and a bottle of water. It was a very long walk, and I was carrying all my luggage. I was exhausted. |

By the time I got to my Guinness,
I looked something like this... |

| Before... | After... | |||||||||||||||||||||||
Now, I'm not usually one for tourist drivel... ...but I had to recieve the "Perfect Pint" training. It came with a certificate and pint. Mmmm... Good. |

Needless to say perhaps, four pints later, I didn't experience much of the train ride. I slept through most of it. Later that evening I was in Ardmore, and we all went out to celebrate my long awaited arrival. In other words, more pints. |
